This site is for tutors using (or considering using) the 2011 second edition of Palgrave Macmillan's Foundations German 1 beginners' coursebook first published in 2003. The title forms part of the unique Foundations Languages series of coursebooks specially designed for beginners' and intermediate levels in higher education. and similar provision. - The suggested syllabus is designed in the first place for formal course documentation such as module guides and review and validation documents. Click on german 1 and then on syllabus. For teaching purposes it should be read in connection with the detailed contents Overview on pages x and xi of the coursebook. There is a separate grammar syllabus item.
